  • Learn to build trust for themselves and others.
  • Participate in and learn the benefits of teamwork
  • Experience "entrepreneurship"
  • Gain communication/active listening skills
  • Organize and present ideas/comments, etc.
  • Experience how it feels to be acknowledged for their contributions and practice acknowledging others
The Success Dynamics for Inspired Youth Program was launched this spring in Canada.
Two 2-day workshops were held April 20-23, 2009, with 4 schools and a total of 21 students participating. The workshops were a resounding success in many ways including seeing students:
  • Getting, accepting and easily working with the "Success Agreements" (code of conduct)
  • Bringing an amazing amount of creativity and knowledge to their learning experience
  • Quickly showing respect for each other and the facilitators, through their behavior and responses to questions
  • Getting the concept to not give up initiated by a fun exercise
  • Quickly moving from a place of low self-confidence and/or self-deprecating behavior to one of being self-confident and self-assured, catching their own negative behavior and demonstrating an understanding of their responsibility for themselves
  • Demonstrating an understanding of what it takes to make a "good" decision
  • Working hard at the "business" exercise and getting what it takes to be an entrepreneur in today's world.
  • Demonstrating skills/talents in leaderhip, entrepreneurship, being a team player, active listening, creativity, and articulating their views.
