Following are recent projects we have completed:

American Literacy Association, Administrators, Tutors and Learners

The Inspired Learning Mode™l was being introduced to the literacy sector through a series of presentations:

• June 2009: Marlene Martin and Sheila Mitchell facilitated a program for Adult Literacy tutors in California. The Program was modelled on the Certified Inspired Learning Facilitator Program and was funded via a government grant.
• November 8, 2007:  Proliteracy Worldwide Conference (Guidelines to Accelerated Learning: Creating a successful and safe learning environment).  Marlene Martin and Sheila Mitchell are facilitating a 'playshop' where they will create and allow participants to experience the powerful support, safety and encouragement of the Inspired Learning Model .
• November 9, 2007: Proliteracy Worldwide Conference (Give Yourself Permission to Dream Big).  In this 'playshop' learners (and others) are invited to consider a new way of thinking, to connect with their personal 'big dream' of success and create a personal vision.
• November 10, 2007:  Proliteracy Worldwide Conference (Coach to Success) In this workshop, participants will learn to use coaching concepts and specific coaching skills to support and enhance student/learner progress.

• January-July, 2008: Four individuals completed a 7-month Master Certified Inspired Learning Facilitator Program.  Contained within this Program were two Certified Inspired Learning Facilitator Programs, with a total of 16 people working towards certification.

CURRENT PROJECTS:

We are pleased to inform you about our current projects, which include:

• People have been asking for a program geared specifically to parents.
• We have been working on such a program over the past several months and anticipate lauching this program later this fall. learn more

• Our new youth  Program "Success Dynamics for Inspired Youth" was piloted in Canada April 20-23, 2009.   A total of 21 youth from 4 schools participated. learn more

• We revised our Certified Inspired Learning Facilitator Program in 2008 to make it more convenient and less costly for participants. The Program is now done entirely via teleclass, which means there is no longer an in-person portion and no travel costs. 
• The next Certification Program is scheduled to begin on October 15, 2009.  Register Here

• We are pleased to announce that Vision Literacy and the Santa Clara County Library have decided to continue to provide some funding which can be used to continue to bring the Inspired Learning Model to Adult Literacy programs in California -- more information to come.

Inspired Learning Certification Program

We recently combined the Inspired Learning Faciliator Training (the Foundation's course) and the Certification training and created the Inspired Learning Certification Program.  This allows for deeper learning of the Inspired Learning Model™ and gives participants a faster track to certification.
